With ViSalus (Vi) experiencing impressive growth to start 2014, one of the top leaders driving that success has been Crown Ambassador Kyle Pacetti.
We caught up with him recently to find out how the PROJECT 10™ Challenge is fueling his team’s impressive growth, and what he’s challenging himself to achieve in 2014 and beyond.
Kyle Pacetti is the perfect example of how history can repeat itself—and in an extremely profitable way.
When Kyle, with 22 years of industry experience, joined Vi in 2010 and became one of their Top Earners in only 45 days, he helped to lead the company in passing the $1 billion sales mark just three years later. And, based on his team’s compounded double-digit growth within the past 90 days, Kyle is once again leading Vi’s momentum—not just in North America this time, but worldwide.
In fact, so far he’s helped more than half a million people join The Challenge. And now, with the PROJECT 10 Challenge™ launching his business to new heights, Kyle is looking to not only take Vi’s historic 2012 growth and repeat it in 2014, but sustain it long into the future.
Percentages Talk
It’s hard not to be impressed by Kyle’s growth already in 2014. His team’s monthly sales volume has increased by 36%. New Customers joining his team each month have increased by over 100%, while the number of new Promoters added to his team has increased by over 200%. He’s also seen the number of new Rising Stars double during the past three months*.
More impressive still is the passionate, charismatic and yet down-to-earth leader who is Kyle. Ask him what motivates him to make 2014 the start of the company’s best years to come, and he’ll answer it has everything to do with the PROJECT 10 Challenge and rallying everyone around a worthwhile cause.
“I am very passionate about our crusade to crush obesity and feed children in need throughout the world,” says Kyle. “It’s why I’m also passionate about the PROJECT 10 Challenge, which lets you challenge a person to lose 10 lbs. of fat or gain 10 lbs. of lean muscle using a Challenge Kit; but, it also enables you to enter to win money as well as, more importantly, help a child on his or her journey to better health with PROJECT 10™ Kids.”
It’s Simple, Really
Known for being able to inspire people from all walks of life, Kyle’s business strategy is simple. It begins with creating a common mindset.
“If we believe in our company, believe in the mission and believe in ourselves, then that belief can help us achieve greatness,” he says. “If you have to teach people every mechanical thing to promote The Challenge, it’s hard to do. What is very simple to do, however, is to focus them on an inspiring goal. In fact, I’ve already done that 30 or 40 times today. The mechanics of it all will then eventually fall into place. In 2010, I instilled belief in thousands and thousands of people, and that momentum continued to build.”
Same Words, Different Lips
For Kyle, the bigger the Challenge, the bigger his drive. “I’m driven by those who say I (or we) can’t do something,” he says. “I love watching the progression of naysayers. First, they say it will never work. Then it does. Next, they say it will never last. Then it does. Finally, they say we always knew you would succeed. Those negative statements or predictions will never change—only the lips that say them.”
However, what has resulted in change—the positive kind—are all of the lives impacted by The Challenge.
“One of the reasons why Vi has had so much success is that physical changes can lead to emotional transformations,” says Kyle. “Other companies have products that work—but they don’t impact somebody beyond the physical. We also help children, and I make that a part of every conversation I have with others.”
Follow the Leader
Vi’s history of innovation also has Kyle talking.
“With innovations like Challenge Marketing, a mobile-based back-office, the earliest car program in the industry, etc., we revolutionized and shifted an entire industry. As we have done every year in the past, we will continue to innovate with new marketing, technology, product and compensation adjustments. It is flattering when a big company or even a start-up tries to imitate us. It means we’re leading, and they’re following.”
Kyle is, of course, one of those leaders.
“Never underestimate the power of a team with vision, a crusade, work ethic and leadership,” he says. “Telling me and my team that we can’t do something is like poking a sleeping bear with a stick; he will wake up and eat you. My team is 3-0 so far, and we plan on going 12-0 for the year. I am in all-out-build mode, growing my existing teams, personally recruiting new Promoters, mentoring people with potential, and pouring fuel on every spark I see. I helped create a pile of million dollar earners, hundreds of 100k earners and thousands of BMW qualifiers in my first run; what do you think I’m going to do this time?”
Apparently, Kyle is doing more than a lot.
“It has been amazing seeing my already very large business respond so positively,” he adds. “In January, my business experienced double-digit growth from December; February grew double digits over January; March grew double digits over February. Now, half-way through April, there is no doubt this will be a repeat of the past three months.”
Patterns Repeat
Just as Kyle notices a steady upward trend in terms of his own business success, he has also noticed patterns and repeat actions elsewhere.
“There were three types of people in 2010 when I launched my business, just as there are the same three types today,” he explains. “You have Naysayers, Spectators and Players. The Naysayers and Spectators from 2010 are likely still broke; the Players’ financial lives have been changed forever and are leading a life of significance from helping children in need. Years from now, the Naysayers and Spectators from 2014 will still be broke, and the Players’ financial lives will be changed forever and will lead a life of significance from helping children.
I know during this journey that some will fall for shiny objects, start-ups, get-rich-quick ventures, copy cats, patches, pills, potions, lotions, mold, fungus, weeds, trees, berries, fruits and nuts… and that’s all okay. It’s the ones who understand what we are doing and where we are going who will eventually become the legends of the industry—and ensure our second run is very successful long-term. Can I get a boom?”
