Visalus Announces Founders Equity Incentive Plan

Blake Mallen,CMO,Visalus

As part of the exciting new 2015 incentives and launches, ViSalus unveiled the Founders’ Equity Incentive Plan – offering independent Promoters a unique earning opportunity as they achieve leadership ranks promoting The Challenge.
Since buying back controlling interest of ViSalus in late 2014, the Co-Founders have focused on creating a compelling vision for the next five years. This plan sets Vi apart with an opportunity unmatched in the industry, and is a cornerstone of the company’s “2020 Vision.”
“Our Compensation Plan is already lucrative, but this is an additional opportunity that is nearly impossible to find in our industry, which is to own your legacy and share in our future success. We [the Founders] are looking to create long-term partnerships with our elite leaders. We want to welcome individuals and leaders to our community who are passionate about the opportunity to build this legacy for themselves, and for their families,” says Ryan Blair, Vi Co-Founder and CEO.
In December 2014, the Founders spent $143 million to buy back a significant portion of ViSalus, 6% of which they have now put back into the Founders’ Equity Incentive Plan from which Promoters can earn. ViSalus Promoters now have the ownership opportunity equivalent to 6% of the entire company worldwide – 3% available to be earned in each of 2015 and 2016. The plan will be shared among four groups, based on monthly ranks achieved and maintained by Vi Promoters, and those who they help succeed.
By meeting the qualification criteria, Promoters can earn equity in this plan and potentially benefit from the future success of the company they are helping to build. When a similar plan was launched in the company’s early years, the over 300 Promoters who earned in the plan ended up sharing in over $30 million.
In 2015 Vi will celebrate its 10th birthday – an achievement that fuels CEO Ryan Blair’s excitement about the decades to come.
Added Blair, “The last five years laid the foundation and produced over $50 million in sales. Our last five years produced over $1.7 billion and taught us incredibly valuable lessons. With the team we have assembled today I can’t wait to see what the next 5 years will bring.”
International expansion has brought Vi to a total of 11 countries, with two U.S. and three European offices and more expected to launch in 2015, further growing the value for earning potential in the Founders’ Equity Incentive Plan.
“Much like equity in a home or any other investment, the hope is that as we work together to create an even more valuable company, those who have earned shares in the plan will have an opportunity to benefit as well,” says Blair.

Phil Polich, CEO, Wake Up Now

Wake Up Now leaders would be not pleased with this article, however many former insiders and field leaders are informing Business For Home, and after validating their information, the company seems to be not stable at all.
According to a Wake Up Now Corporate statement:
"We are still recovering from damage done by gamers and scammers. Prepaid cards and chargebacks along with the need to support international growth led us to international merchant processing which is higher fees, delayed processing, and a multi-million dollar rolling reserve".
It seems Wake Up Now's deficit is around $15 million and according tomacroaxis.com the company has a 96% chance of Bankruptcy within 2 year which states the following:
"Based on latest financial disclosure Wake Up Now Inc has Probability Of Bankruptcy of 96%.
This is much higher than that of the sector, and significantly higher than that of Probability Of Bankruptcy industry, The Probability Of Bankruptcy for all stocks is over 1000% lower than the firm".
As of today, Wake Up Now stock has been around  $1.02, more than ten times less than when it was at $10.70 less than a year ago.
The Wake Up Now market capitalization went down in a year from approx. $200 million to $19 million as of today. Tough numbers for new investors.
"Word in the street" in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA where around 100 MLM companies are based, is that Wake Up Now is looking for a new investor, if not found, it would be possible Wake Up Now will terminate operations shortly.

According to the website: "Jamie At Home is an eclectic collection of products inspired by Jamie's relaxed approach to eating, entertaining and enjoying life available primarily through Jamie at Home self employed consultants".

Lindsey Duncan, CEO Genesis Today Fined With $9 Million

Lindsey Duncan, Genesis Today, CEO

Lindsey Duncan and the companies he controlled have agreed to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that they deceptively touted the supposed weight-loss benefits of green coffee bean extract through a campaign that included appearances on The Dr. Oz Show, The View, and other television programs.
Under the FTC settlement, the defendants are barred from making deceptive claims about the health benefits or efficacy of any dietary supplement or drug product, and will pay $9 million for consumer redress.
“Lindsey Duncan and his companies made millions by falsely claiming that green coffee bean supplements cause significant and rapid weight loss,” said Jessica Rich, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection. “This case shows that the Federal Trade Commission will continue to fight deceptive marketers’ attempts to prey on consumers trying to improve their health.”
The FTC charged that Duncan and his companies, Pure Health LLC and Genesis Today, Inc., deceptively claimed thatthe supplement could cause consumers to lose 17 pounds and 16 percent of their body fat in just 12 weeks without diet or exercise, and that the claim was backed up by a clinical study. In September 2014, the FTC settled charges against the company that sponsored the severely flawed study that Duncan discussed on Dr. Oz.
According to the FTC’s complaint, shortly after Duncan agreed to appear on Dr. Oz but before the show aired, he began selling the extract and tailored a marketing campaign around his appearance on the show to capitalize on the “Oz effect” – a phenomenon in which discussion of a product on the program causes an increase in consumer demand.
For example, while discussing green coffee bean extract during the taping of Dr. Oz, Duncan urged viewers to search for the product online using phrases his companies would use in search advertising to drive consumers to their websites selling the extract. He reached out to retailers, describing his upcoming appearance on The Dr. Oz Show and saying he planned to discuss the clinical trials that purportedly proved the supplement’s effectiveness. He and his companies also began an intensive effort to make the extract available in Walmart stores and on Amazon.com when the program aired.
The defendants continued to use Duncan’s Dr. Oz appearance in their marketing campaign after the show aired, the complaint states, posting links to the episode on websites and using retail point-of-sale displays showing messages such as “New Health Discovery!  As Seen on TV, ‘The Dieter’s Secret Weapon.’” After appearing on Dr. Oz, Duncan and his companies sold tens of millions of dollars’ worth of the extract, according to the FTC.
The FTC also alleged that Duncan and several of the companies’ paid spokespeople portrayed themselves on television shows as independent sources of information about green coffee bean extract and other natural remedies, while failing to disclose their financial ties to the companies.
The proposed stipulated court order requires the defendants to substantiate any future weight-loss claims with at least two well-controlled human clinical tests. Any claims the defendants make about the health benefits and efficacy of any dietary supplement or drug cannot be misleading and must be substantiated by competent and reliable scientific evidence. Further, the order prohibits false claims that the benefits of any such product are scientifically proven.
The order also bars the defendants from misrepresenting the status of any endorser, and requires them to disclose all material connections between them and anyone who endorses their products. Finally, it imposes a $9 million redress judgment, with an initial payment of $5 million due within two weeks of when the court enters the order.
Information for Consumers
Consumers should carefully evaluate advertising claims for weight-loss products. For more information, see the FTC’s guidance for consumers of products and services advertised for Weight Loss & Fitness.
The Commission vote authorizing the staff to file the complaint was 5-0. The vote authorizing the filing of the proposed stipulated court order was 3-2, with Commissioners Ohlhausen and Wright voting no. The majority, Chairwoman Ramirez, Commissioner Brill, and Commissioner McSweeny, issued a separate statementCommissioners Ohlhausen and Wright also issued a separate statement. The complaint and order were filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas on January 26, 2015.
The FTC is a member of the National Prevention Council, which provides coordination and leadership at the federal level regarding prevention, wellness, and health promotion practices. This case advances the National Prevention Strategy’s goal of increasing the number of Americans who are healthy at every stage of life.
NOTE: The Commission files a complaint when it has “reason to believe” that the law has been or is being violated and it appears to the Commission that a proceeding is in the public interest. Stipulated orders have the force of law when approved and signed by the District Court judge.

cosmeticdesign.com reports:
The direct sales beauty brand recognizes and trains its top consultants at an annual event, and this year the company has business gains to celebrate as well. Mary Kay brands itself as a venture that benefits women in and beyond its ranks. Beyond tallying sales and educating consultants, the company has environmental initiatives, recycling strategies, uses its foundation to connect with shelters to end domestic violence and more.
Aging gracefully In 2013 the company celebrated 50 years in business. Among the milestones feted by those gathered in Dallas, Texas, for the event were the over 800 Mary Kay patents—issued and pending—covering products, technologies and designs. “Our 50th anniversary has been a recordsetting year for our company,” said David Holl, president and chief executive officer said in a press release describing the occasion. “Women of all backgrounds and ages continue to turn to Mary Kay for the products they love and trust as well as the unparalleled opportunity.”
Well begun Mary Kay Ash founded the directsales beauty brand in 1963. And her son Richard Rogers continues to be involved with the brand, acting now as Executive Chairman. To date Mary Kay (headquarters in Addison, Texas) comprises over 3 million independent beauty consultants, marketing more than 200 products internationally to consumers in 35 countries.
The brand’s main merchandise consists of skin care, makeup and fragrance products. And through effective sales of those items and business savvy: “more than 600 women worldwide have become Independent National Sales Directors, the highest status within the independent sales force,” according to the company site.
Professional leadership Going on this week in Nashville, Tennessee, the company’s leadership conference is an “annual four day event includes advanced leadership education, riveting recognition and fashionable entertainment …[as well as] a variety of business development classes,” explains the May Kay event’s site.
Sales Growth At the conference this year, Mary Kay announced double digit growth in product sales globally. That, “over a recordbreaking year in 2013 when the company celebrated 50 years in business,” stated the company’s media release about the leadership event. Mary Kay consultants are a boon to the local economy where the event is held each year too.
"We've grown to love Nashville and are thrilled to be back for our annual Leadership Conference this year," said Laura Beitler, vice president of recognition and events for Mary Kay. "The local community makes our Independent Beauty Consultants feel welcome and right at home. As thousands of independent sales force members from across the nation paint the town pink for a week, we're happy to infuse millions of dollars into the Nashville economy."

Vince Reed – Top Internet Marketer Interview

Vince Reed, Interview, Top Internet Marketer, Home Business Training System,

Vince Reed from Los Angeles, California, USA is the founder of My Internet Traffic System - the Home Business Training System for top earners.
After not being able to sponsor a single person into his first network marketing business for 6 months, Vince Reed created a system that allowed him to personally sponsor over 1,232 people personally. That same organization grew to over 20,000 distributors.
After this success, Vince decided to create a lead generation training company to teach other online marketers, direct sales reps and network marketers how he did it.  It was important to him to prove that a business model that was built on home meetings and talking to friends and family could also work using the internet.
Knowing that most traditional network marketers are not the biggest fans of internet marketers because most seem to over complicate things, Vince was determined to keep it simple. That is why he launched www.MyInternetTraffficSystem.com (MITS) in November of 2013. MITS has generated millions of dollars in revenue and pays out hundreds of thousands of dollars in commissions every month to over 3,000 members.
Vince Reed now speaks at some of the best live events in the industry and even hosts his own eventswww.internettrafficlive.com where he brings in the best entrepreneurs and traffic experts on the internet today.
Ted Nuyten had the honor to interview Vince Reed
Vince, how did you start in the Internet Marketing Industry?
I stumbled onto the online world in late 2007 after getting slammed during the mortgage crisis in the USA. The day I found the internet was the day I quit the real estate industry for good.  I call it the worst and the very best day of his life :)
The day I quit the real estate industry was the day I went on Craigslist and saw an advertisement that said I could make money on Google. That was the spark I was looking for but like most people I quickly realized this online thing is not so easy.
Making money on the Internet is for a newbie not easy?
Not for me when I started, after failing for the 1st 6 months in my first network marketing company, I quickly realized that there was something missing in my business that was the key factor in the success all of the 7 and 8 figure earners that I studied and learned from daily!
So I stopped listening to what everyone else was saying and started doing what I saw only the top 1% doing. Almost overnight everything changed the question that I focused on was:
“Why Would A Person Want To Join Me?”
Vince, I noticed you did a music video telling your story… how did that come about?
First off.. I'm a terrible rapper unless I'm rapping in the shower.vBut I'm always looking for creative ways to inspire people. One of my employees who films all of the live videos for my company is also an inspiring rapper. So one day he plays me a rap video that he made for himself. I thought it was great. Jokingly I say to him you should do a rap song me telling my story.
1 week later I get an email with a recorded song. He said you alwasy talk about speed of implementation so here you go. The song blew me away. A few months later we shoot the video and today people are telling me its the most creative story video of all times.  I know that music has moved people thoughout history… so I hope this video inspires the masses!
Why are you successfull?
The answer is SKILLS. I realized that anyone can have an opportunity but very few people have skill sets that can effect and change the lives of people all over the world. The skill that I decided to master was “Targeted Traffic” Not Traffic like other GURU’s… I focus on Targeted Traffic.
Vince quotes “I don’t want you to get clicks, I want you to get sales".
What are the benefits for MLM professionals?
We teach entrepreneurs paid traffic methods better than anyone else, period!
MITS is for the person who wants to become a lead generation master allowing you to become more than just a person with an opportunity. But nothing makes me happier than the success of my students.
I had my first 7 figure student early last year and I have hundreds of students who earn full time incomes online.
Vince Reed Family
Vince Reed Family
How do you do that?
  1. We practice what we preach. The company spends hundreds of thousands of dollars per month implementing the traffic methods that we teach and then we deliver our results directly to our members.
  2. Every member gets a traffic coach… we realized that watching and implementing a product that you buy and watch is not enough.  That is why each member gets a coach to ensure they are implementing what they learn correctly.
  3. Members also get 2 group coaching sessions with Vince every week.  If you have a question, I feel our members should be able to speak to me.  That is why members can submit ads and actually have me look at their ads live on our weekly practice webinars.  I will pull up your ad and personally tell you how to optimize it better.

Talk Fusion, Grand Blue Diamond, Mark Genovese

An energized group of Talk Fusion Associates, led by Grand Blue Diamond Mark Genovese, has issued a challenge unlike any seen in the Direct Selling industry: Talk Fusion Associates who lead their teams to sign up 50,000 new Associates or Customers in 6 months will earn a one million dollar bonus.
Headed by a team of “Global Challenge Diamond Leaders,” consisting of Genovese, Blue Diamond Svetlana Shodunke, and Diamond Elite Hitomi Shinzato, this Million Dollar Global Challenge is designed to start 2015 out with a powerful, inspirational way to demonstrate how profitable it can be to build a Talk Fusion business. The million dollar bonus will be issued at a major Talk Fusion event and is paid in addition to other normally earned income and bonuses. A Talk Fusion Associate who successfully completes the challenge will divide the bonus with his or her Personal Sponsor in a $750,000/$250,000 split.
On the way to completing the Million Dollar Global Challenge, Associates will naturally discover the thrilling incentives offered by Talk Fusion’s World’s First Instant Pay Compensation Plan, including new recently added rewards. A new Rolex watch award and diamond and gold Recognition Rings for lifetime milestones join Talk Fusion’s twice-yearly Dream Getaway Hawaiian vacation incentive and their classic Mercedes Madness Car Bonus, which was upgraded to include qualification to have Talk Fusion outright buy the Associate a brand-new C class Mercedes-Benz.
“It’s an incentive that’s just too incredible to pass up,” said challenge organizer Mark Genovese. “We’re so confident that the Global Challenge Diamond Leaders have put up one million dollars to prove it.”
With the contest now underway, Associates wishing to take the challenge can contact any of the Global Challenge Diamond Leaders.

After learning more about Vemma’s commitment to expanding into Latin America and the vision of Vemma Founder and CEO BK Boreyko, Patricio was further convinced he had a home with company and joined just a few short months ago. He adds, “I love what the Vemma formula has and does with science and clinical studies as well as great branding and packaging.”
