Marking a 99% increase over the September 2012 sales total, Vemma closed out September with sales approaching $21 million and daily sales increasing by almost $100,000 a business day over last month.

The company growth is fueled by the best-selling Verve brand which has become a $100 million+ brand on its own.
The release of the new Verve ParTea gave sales a nice bump and allows Vemma Brand Partners to tap into the exploding 'ready to drink' iced tea market.

Vemma announced earlier that sales reached $20 million per month in July, a first-ever record for the company.

Herbalife Wins Belgium Appeal

Global nutrition company Herbalife (NYSE: HLF), welcomes the judgment by a Belgian Appeal Court that states the company's sales model is in full compliance with Belgian law.

This judgment overturns a previous ruling by the lower court, in response to claims brought by Belgian consumer organization Test-Aankoop, that Herbalife was operating a pyramid scheme.

Herbalife always believed that the first judgment contained factual errors and was based on misinterpretations of its direct-selling sales method, and was confident that the original judgment would be overturned on appeal.

Herbalife continues to focus on supporting its independent distributors and their customers in Belgium, and the company remains committed to an open and transparent relationship with those distributors and customers, as well as regulatory authorities and all other stakeholders.

Empower Network Names Jonathan Cronstedt As New CEO

Software and web marketing companyEmpower Network named Jonathan Cronstedt as the company's new chief executive officer.

Empower Network co-founder David Wood, who previously served as the company's CEO, now becomes the company chairman.

Empower Network has experienced significant growth in the company's first two years in business. One of Cronstedt's top priorities is to manage the company's rapid growth and development as well as its brand and product development. Currently, Empower Network has 38,000 affiliates and 80,000 members.

Cronstedt has tremendous experience leading direct marketing and Internet-based companies as the previous CEO of Digital Marketer and as the vice president of business development for Kajabi. He is also the chairman of Prodigy Consulting Group, a full-service finance and consulting organization.

"We are excited to have Jonathan to guide the growth of the Empower Network company and brand," said President David Sharpe. "Jonathan has the leadership experience in our industry to bring Empower Network to even greater levels of success."

Jonathan worked in previous executive leadership positions for mortgage, finance, digital publishing and direct sales companies.

Tupperware Announces Two New Group Presidents

Tupperware Brands Corporation today announces that effective January 1, 2014 Asha Gupta and Patricia A. Stitzel will be promoted to Group President, Asia Pacific and the Americas, respectively. Christian E. Skroeder, current Group President Asia Pacific, will transition to Executive Vice President, Tupperware Brands. Rick Goings commented, "These key leadership changes are a result of planned transitions and reflect our continued focus on developing young leaders and succession planning for critical roles in our organization."

Asha Gupta, currently Area Vice President, India, Tupperware Brands Philippines and Nutrimetics Australia/New Zealand, will become Group President, Asia Pacific. Asha has 15 years of Tupperware leadership experience in sales development, marketing, and operating unit and portfolio leadership working in business units across Europe and Asia Pacific. She has demonstrated vision for enhancing our business to attract new generations through social media strategies.
Patricia A. Stitzel, currently Senior Area Vice President, Central Europe, will become Group President, Americas. Tricia brings over 16 years of Tupperware experience to her new role. Her experience includes leadership roles in human resources in the United States and Canada, as well as in Europe and Worldwide, and operating portfolio leadership throughout Europe since 2008. She has managed various portfolios covering 20 countries in Europe, encompassing a variety of business models and cultures. Tricia will assume leadership of the Americas from Simon C. Christian E. Skroeder, current Group President, Asia Pacific, will transition to Executive Vice President, Tupperware Brands, reporting to Rick Goings, Chairman and C.E.O. Christian has a broad background and has served successfully in several key leadership roles within Tupperware. To leverage his skills and experience, Christian will work with targeted markets to ensure continued positive momentum in those doing well and improved performance where that is needed.

Epic has launched today in Mexico.

Glen Jensen, former CEO and Co-Founder of AgelEnterprises launched this MLM company – EPIC, with his partner Al Chua from EcosWay a large $500 Million annual revenue Malaysian Direct Selling company.

Brent Jensen is president. It has attracted several Direct Selling legends. Epic is a social enterprise focused on delivering high quality products directly to consumers via a direct-marketing model.

Epic has the knowledge and know-how of a group of veteran operations, marketing, technology, and creative personnel to deliver quality products, programs and tools to help their network of independent distributors realize the primary purpose of Epic:

Vincent Tan is a Malaysian businessman and investor. In 2010 he entered the Forbes billionaire list. His property arm is developing a $3.5 billion resort in South Korea's Jeju Island.

He is the Chairman and Chief Executive of Berjaya Corporation Berhad, a $7.5 billion annual revenue conglomerate which is in a wide array of businesses which includes golfing, property, resorts, and gambling in a group known as the Berjaya Group.

He is teaming up with Glen Jensen in Epic.

Tan's success in the Malaysian business sector has been attributed in part to his close association with prominent Malay political figures.

He owns social networking website Friendster.com and bought shares of Facebook through his Internet company, MOL.com.

In 1982, Tan purchased Malaysia's McDonald's franchise and in 1985 he bought Sports Toto when the lottery agency was privatised by the government.Tan obtained the license for his lottery business from an non-tendered privatisation in 1985.

Vincnt Tan owns a controlling share in the UK football Premier League side Cardiff City Football Club. He recently signed the Giving Pledge, committing to donating half his wealth during his lifetime.

Zrii LLC today announced that network marketing leader Matt Ward of Tulsa, Oklahoma, has joined Zrii as Vice President of Global Sales.

Previously, Mr. Ward was a 5-Star Ambassador and one of the top earners at ViSalus, starting at zero and hitting $1 million in commissions in his first 27 months.

The move makes Mr. Ward a key player on the executive team at Zrii, a rapidly expanding company that has grown from $1 million to over $4 million a month in sales in the last eight months alone.

“I had a strong desire to raise my leadership role in this industry, and after sitting with Zrii President A. K. Because of the desire of Matt Ward and Christina Perry to do a "release to websites" of their resignations to try to draw attention to it – we found it imperative to release our own statement as 5-stars, 3-stars, 2-stars, 1-stars, and Ambassadors who were either directly partnered with them or under them to make sure EVERYONE knows WE AREN’T GOING ANYWHERE!

The Ward’s and Perry’s have stated they don’t want to take anyone in Vi with them but what we don’t understand is, if that were true why multiple press releases while forgetting to mention you went together to the same company ?

It is easy for people to leave Vi to another deal for the opportunity for possible equity, salaries, bonuses, and placement of teams under you who were in that company years before you signed on. No one knows what they finally accepted. At the end of the day, what we do know is, what might be good for their families BUT it's not what every person who joins their new deal will be offered.

We are united and unwavering in building Vi and at this point not one of their Ambassadors or even direct business partners will be moving with them; so don’t be the person cross line who falls for it.

We wish them the best of luck in their new venture, but we must make sure every person knows where we stand publicly since they felt the need to do the same.

In closing, their release stated that two “5 Stars” left Vi. But if a 5 Star Ambassador is comprised of 5 Ambassadors and none of them left, it sounds more like simply two promoters resigned from Vi….
